The Trent 800 is one of the engine options on the classic Boeing 777 family. The bare engine weighs approx. 5.9-6.1 t dry; the stand is quoted at 13,800 lbs (6,259 kg) empty and 30,900 lbs (14,014 kg) with the engine loaded. Of the two configurations, the truck setup rides longer and taller for road transport, while the air configuration brings the loaded height down to 121.6 in (3,088 mm) for air freight. A pneumatic system raises and lowers the engine, bootstrapping capability supports removal and installation, and shock isolation plus Skydrol-resistant paint protect engine and structure in transit. The stand is SAE ARP1840 compliant. A separate Trent 800 rollover stand is listed as well – ask us which unit fits your move.
Tell us whether the stand is needed for one transport or for a program: one-off moves are priced as rentals, recurring 777 engine work as a lease, in both cases against term, route and dates. Request availability and we will confirm what is on hand. Equipment classification is a separate topic: our guide to types of aircraft engine stands explains where shipping stands fit, while the notes on shipping an aircraft engine deal with the practical side of loading a combination of this weight.
Yes. The stand converts between a truck configuration (142 in / 3,607 mm high with engine) and an air configuration (121.6 in / 3,088 mm high with engine) for air freight.
The Rolls-Royce Trent 800, flown on the classic Boeing 777. The specification lists this engine and aircraft pairing only.
13,800 lbs (6,259 kg) empty. With a Trent 800 loaded, the combination weighs 30,900 lbs (14,014 kg) in both truck and air configuration.
A single transport or engine change points to a rental; recurring 777 engine work justifies a lease. Pricing is quoted per request – send your route and dates.
