The CFM56-7B is the sole engine of the Boeing 737 Next Generation family: the 737-600, -700, -800 and -900. The stand tows the engine between aircraft and shop at up to 3 MPH, with tie-down rings to secure the load for shipment. A removable palletized base adds handling options, and caster brakes with swivel locks keep the unit planted once it is positioned. The frame is steel welded with tubular support arms under a Skydrol enamel coating; the stand alone weighs 3,684 lbs (1,671 kg), rising to 8,837 lbs (4,008 kg) with an engine on board.
